HADASSAH'S HOPE

Our Mission

To reach and restore sexually exploited and trafficked women in the adult entertainment industry by sharing the HOPE and LOVE of Jesus.

Ministry Model

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” - Matthew 28 : 19-20

Our Why

We believe God wants to use us to empower women in Jacksonville by sharing His love, building relationships, and sharing the Gospel.

Strip Club Outreach

We go into 14 strip clubs, one in Georgia, 2-4 times a month with a homemade meal or gifts and hang out with the dancers in the dressing rooms for an hour. We come with no agenda but to let them know they are seen, valued, and loved by Jesus and by us. As relationships and trust are built over time, we are able to hear about the needs of the girls and introduce them to our resources and services. Most importantly, we are able to introduce them to Jesus.

Hope House

The Hope House is a safe place for the women we serve to come and hang out with us. We offer drop-in times Tuesday - Thursday when they can come for community, lunch, resource connections, and even laundry. We also offer group classes, training, therapy, and prayer.

Text Outreach - ToGetHer

This platform connects us to text numbers in targeted zip codes associated with sex for work online ads placed by women, many of which are coerced, exploited, and trafficked. We are able to make connections and assess their current needs. By establishing trust, we can invite them to our Hope House where they can obtain resources, referrals, and support to ensure their safety and help them on their journey toward healing and restoration. Despite misconceptions around women in the sex industry, the path that leads these girls to the industry is most often paved with deep and extreme trauma due to sexual and physical abuse, manipulation, addiction, and even trafficking.

Transformation Internship

Dancers who are interested in taking a deeper dive into life transformation are invited to apply to our 12-week paid Transformation Internship.  The interns meet with us one day a week and receive case management, life & vocational skills training, community lunch, and counseling. The entire program is covered in prayer, and our deepest desire is for the interns to come to know the hope and love of Jesus - the ultimate Savior, healer and restorer - as they embark on this healing journey.

Flourish Discipleship Journey

We have recently started a 1 year discipleship journey at the Hope House. It is a program for a mentor and mentee to get on a deeper level while building trust. This one to one mentorship allows the girls to take a deeper dive into all that God has for them.
